Things I do

... and want to do

My research addresses three related questions:

  • What is personality. How can we measure personality (traits) differently and in larger scale, and how is personality (trait) different from other characteristics such as socio-emotional skills. Currently I’m implementing meta-analysis and online conversational agents for this goal.
  • How does personality develope and change. I’m examining the lifespan personality development and identifying sources that drives personality changes. My research used time series model, network analysis, longitudinal model as well as genetically informed data and design to investigate in these questions.
  • The predictive validity of personality. How is personality related to meaningful life outcomes, such as physical health and academic achievement.

Fun Facts

Get a two-year-old boy american curl (never sit on my lap, but will take over my seat whenever possible); Love skiing and snowboarding; Watch animes (recent favorite: Beastars), and recently developed interest in Poker. Really enjoy watching those players, with pokerface, winining/losing pots that can support hundreds of projects :)
